Successful Acne Treatment Using a Holistic Approach

In today’s post, I will briefly tell you the path you need to take to fight your acne for real, not just masking the problem!

Let’s say you’ve decided to take the first step and have researched about a holistic approach to curing acne and you have read some of my blog or Instagram posts.
Suppose you have also realized that this program gives you a real chance to completely deal with your acne and now you are wondering what comes next, what you will have to do and what you will go through?

Before I answer these questions, it's good to be aware of 3 things:

  1. First, acne is a very complex condition and almost never affects your skin alone;
  2. Second, the result largely depends on how committed you are to the process itself and how willing you are to make changes with yourself;
  3. Third, you need to be aware of the specific causes that may be involved in triggering and worsening your acne. Not all of these reasons, which I will list in a moment, are necessarily present in your picture. But the more of these reasons are in play, the deeper the problem.

What causes acne?

  • Specific foods that trigger acne
  • Beauty care that is harsh, drying and damaging to your skin (now or in the past)
  • Decreased insulin sensitivity
  • Ineffective detoxification of the body
  • Inflammation and Imbalance in the gut microbiome
  • Stress
  • Hormonal disorders

Why are promises of a quick acne cure unrealistic and misleading?

You may know that acne is one of the most difficult inflammatory skin conditions to treat. For this reason, I would be lying to you if I told you that I could help you get rid of your acne quickly.
This is also the reason why the Holistic Anti-Acne Program starts with 6-weeks of learning and applying but it’s critical that you continue following the program’s principles for another 12-18 weeks.
In 6 months, through focused and purposeful work (internal and external), the skin has the opportunity to significantly improve, clear and stabilize, and in many cases, completely heal. During this period, the body receives a strong internal push towards health, balance and harmony.

Our work in the program doesn’t only target external skin care through anti-acne protocols and procedures, but in parallel we also work on the real causes of acne mentioned above. This makes it possible for acne to be overcome fundamentally and for the long-term. The advantage of this approach is that the results are sustainable over time. Because of the balance you achieve in these problem areas, because of the sustainable healthy habits and practices you adopt, because of the learning on everything you need to know about acne to keep it under control.

To date, we have no information about the existence of a similar holistic anti-acne program that:

1) empowers through highly curated and digestible information
2) offers a simple skincare protocol that can be followed by choosing from a small selection of verified products easily obtainable on the market (in other words no dependency on a specific brand and its price tag)
3) provides 60 recipes for clear skin to make the dietary shift easier

What does a holistic anti-acne program consist of?

The program is aimed at helping you heal your skin and return it to a condition close to what it was before acne.

The goal is for papules, pustules and painful cysts (in general, pimples) to progressively decrease, your skin to gradually calm down and rehydrate. If there is heavy greasing, it should be balanced. To reduce the formation of black heads, to clarify the complexion, to reduce the spots of old pimples and sores. Our goal is to make the whole face look radiant and that you don’t have to worry about leaving your home without makeup.

Many of my clients have told me exactly this – that they no longer have any anxiety about talking face to face with other people and are not ashamed of themselves and their skin.

For that to happen, we have a lot of work to do over the next few months. You actively participate in the process. We work and improve certain areas that are most problematic for you.

The process is unique to everyone, but generally speaking we do the following:

  1. Improve your nutrition. There are foods that have a negative effect and provoke acne. There are foods that help clear the skin of pimples and help the body heal, nourish and balance. In the program, you learn in great detail what the right anti-acne diet is. The good thing is that you adapt it to your needs.
  2. Improve the detoxification processes of the body and skin – a topic that is extremely relevant for absolutely every person with acne.
  3. Improve insulin sensitivity – you have a ravenous hunger for sweets and carbohydrates or you have a tendency to overeat; you gain weight in the abdominal area and find it difficult to lose weight; you get shaky, angry, or brain foggy if you miss a meal. All of these are signals that insulin sensitivity needs to be improved because the hormone insulin is related to the release of androgenic hormones. When the skin on the face has higher androgenic activity, the sebaceous glands are more active, which provokes more pimples and worsening of acne.
  4. Improve gut health and balance the microbiome. Why? Because a huge part of health problems are the result of inflammation in the intestines caused by dysbacteriosis. And as you know, acne is a chronic inflammatory condition.
  5. Natural hormone balance. When you eat the right food for you, you help your body successfully detox, you improve insulin sensitivity, and you improve your gut health, your hormones gradually and quite naturally begin to balance. In the program you will learn which hormones are most often the cause of acne, how to take care of your hormonal health and when to see a doctor.
  6. Manage stress. Most people who have acne sense that stress is part of their problem. Whether the cause is physical or psycho-emotional, stress triggers not 1, but 3 hormonal reactions that lead to acne. Therefore, stress must be controlled in order to control acne.
  7. Heal your skin. Several key phases are important – protection of the epidermal barrier and skin pH; antioxidant protection against sebum oxidation and pore clogging; optimal exfoliation; fighting inflammation; balancing the skin microbiome. You’ll have specially designed anti-acne protocols with specific steps and products and, of course, my expert opinion and guidance.

How exactly does this all happen?

To answer this question, I will tell you what the elements of the program itself are – in other words, what it includes.

Training platform

One of the elements of the program is a TRAINING PLATFORM and every client of mine gets access to it. I developed the platform because I believe that knowledge gives us power, gives us freedom and independence. When you are aware of where your problem is coming from, even that alone brings you much more peace of mind and confidence that you can handle it. I don’t want my clients to feel dependent on me. I want them to have the knowledge and to be able to deal with the problem themselves.

The training platform has video tutorials, materials and aids, all with a practical focus and in the context of acne. Lessons that you actively work with are gradually unlocked week after week.

Monitored email communication

Every client gets access to me and my expertise through an email communication channel. You can directly ask questions, share progress or provide feedback. I aim to respond to you as soon as possible, which at busy times might mean that you will receive a reply within 48-72 hours.

What is required of you?

As I already explained, the result largely depends on how committed you are to the process itself. How willing you are to make changes. Namely, taking the time to watch the video tutorials, making changes to your diet, preparing food, following the anti-acne home care protocols, reaching out when you need extra guidance or have questions, generally applying the principles from the program.
